Home Care in Witney – FAQs

How much does Chamomile Care charge for care?

Some care agencies charge depending on the level of support required. Chamomile Care pricing is the same rate no matter what the level of support required is. We review our rates annually.

Our current charges are £36 per hour, £29 for 45 minutes, £22 for 30 minutes. Visits over an hour are charged at the hourly rate ie 1.5 hours is 1.5 x £36.

All Bank Holidays are charged at twice the usual rate, we also pay our staff at double their hourly rate.

We reserve the right to charge a mileage fee for trips away from the home ie shopping trips, days out etc, at 60p per mile. We pay our Care Workers the HMRC Allowance of 45p for every mile that they drive, unfortunately by charging you the mileage it becomes company income, leaving us enough to pay the Care Worker.

What visit lengths are available?

Visit lengths are flexible and tailored to individual needs. Chamomile Care typically offers visits of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes, with longer visits available where required.

Support can range from short check-ins or medication prompts to more comprehensive assistance with personal care, meal preparation, or companionship, depending on what is most appropriate for the individual.

Can care start quickly after hospital discharge?

Where capacity allows, care can often begin promptly following hospital discharge. Availability will be discussed during the initial enquiry and assessment process.

Do you offer dementia care in Witney?

Yes. Chamomile Care provides specialist dementia care in Witney, supporting individuals with familiarity, routine and calm, consistent care in their own homes.
