Individualised Support Where It Matters Most

We believe home care is more than just "receiving support". It's about breathing extra life into you or your loved one's days, so you can focus on the moments that matter.

Also called 'care at home', this person-centred service allows those we help to receive expert care and support as little or as often as they would like (according to the care plan we come up with together).

No two people have the same care needs, which is why we provide a fully flexible and holistic approach. So you or your loved one receives just the right level of support while maintaining your daily lifestyle.

Home care provides you or your loved one the freedom to live life on your own terms in the place you know. It can be a helping hand a few times a week or more dedicated specialist care for a complex condition, depending on what's needed.

Speak with us now to explore how our home-based care can bring comfort and independence.

Why Families Choose Us:

Our physical disabilities support allows you or your loved one to stay in the comfort of home while receiving the care and support required. With Chamomile Care, our visiting care model offers:

One-to-one support

Our Service Users receive focused care from our attentive team, who know how to listen to their wishes and promptly adapt to their care needs.

Care right at home

Staying in a known setting gives a sense of security to those we provide care for, and it can also help reduce stress while maintaining quality of life.

Care that fits your life

Expect no rigid plans or templated care packages, as every detail of our care and support is shaped around you or your loved one's wishes, preferences, and daily routines.

Keeping up with hobbies

Home care means you or your loved one can continue doing the things that bring you joy. Whether it's pottering around in the garden, going out for a walk, sharing a cup of tea with friends, or simply enjoying a favourite book.

More time with family and friends

With the right support in place, you or your loved one can spend more time enjoying moments together with friends and family instead of worrying about care arrangements.

Holistic approach

Care is about companionship, well-being, and making life easier for the whole family. No stone is left unturned when we come up with a plan together in our care consultation.

Exceptional Care Begins With Exceptional Care Workers

When Is It Time To Consider Home Care?

Deciding when to arrange tailor-made support can feel like there is a lot to consider. There's no set time, diagnosis, or age that clearly defines when one should explore home care solutions. It's simply about recognising when extra support would make life easier, safer, or more enjoyable.

When getting in touch with our friendly team on the other end of the phone, we simplify as much as possible so you or your loved one is fully on-board with everything we can help with.

You may want to consider home care if you or your loved one is:

Having trouble with daily routines

We can provide compassionate care that adapts task by task so you or your loved one can live comfortably and with dignity.

Unwilling to move to a care home

Home care is a popular alternative to residential care and allows you or your loved one to stay in the home they know.

Experiencing mobility challenges

We can provide respectful care and support with getting in and out of bed, using the stairs, or navigating the home safely.

Living with a complex condition

Our specialist staff give professional and attentive help at all times in situations such as dementia and post-operative recovery.

Needing help getting out and about

Care shouldn't stop at the doorstep. Whether it's a trip to the shops, visiting family, or enjoying a day out, we're here to help.

Feeling lonely or isolated

More than just Care Workers, we provide a familiar face to chat with, laugh with, and share everyday moments over a cup of tea or favourite pastime.

Not Just A Care Company, But A Company That Cares

We are very proud to be recognised as a CQC-rated "Good" overall provider in Oxfordshire. We directly employ our Care Workers, which means you can expect a high level of consistency and reliability from us. As our management team has over 40 years of combined experience, we train our Care Workers directly with this wisdom.

Our founder Michael Ackers started Chamomile Care as he was dissatisfied with the way the industry was going and how companies operated. From his 13 years experience in the industry and Level 3 and 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care, Michael knew what made any care company excellent.

"As a Care Worker, it is an honour to be the first person that someone sees in the day. Even better if they wake up to your happy smiling face."

— Michael Ackers (founder)

I can not fault Chamomile Care at all, they are the best care company in Oxfordshire. I live abroad, and they took fantastic care of my mother. The staff are fantastic and friendly, and kept me updated throughout the process of taking care of my mother. Everything from ordering food to keeping the house clean, Chamomile Care did everything. Nothing was a problem. I could call them anytime. Halfway through my mother's care, she had to have double-handed care four times a day, Chamomile Care did not have the capacity at this time, so social services had to change companies. That was the worst thing that could happen to my mother. Her care from the replacement company was unpleasant, horrible and very unprofessional. 'Worst company ever!'.

They did not do their job correctly, so my mother's health went downhill very fast. I contacted Chamomile Care and asked what to do. They responded, and they worked very hard on getting capacity, and I got them back, which made my mother very happy in her last days of her life.
