You will require a satisfactory Enhanced DBS and barred list check (adults), which we will arrange for you. All roles at Chamomile Care are included in the Exceptions Order to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions). This means that all criminal convictions, both spent and unspent, have to be declared. Having a criminal record will not automatically prevent your employment. Sadly, all too often these days, a Care Worker is the only person a vulnerable person will see during the day. This can be for as little as half an hour. We are looking for people who are caring, compassionate, open and friendly to make that 30 minute call as worthwhile as possible. If you are an experienced Care Worker we can fast track you through our induction program. We will need to show the CQC that we are satisfied with your knowledge/experience, to achieve this there are a few quizzes to see if there are any gaps in your knowledge. If you have annual update training certificates, we will take them onboard and spot check you initially to evidence that we have checked the standard of care that you are delivering.
